Churchill - Tropezina (SOLD)

Melbourne Premier Sale

$75k

To be trained by the Ciaron Maher Team

The filly is a real standout!  She has a brilliant temperament, a massive hind quarter, and a big action. She also has a great demeanor and a very professional attitude which is half the battle.

The dam won 3 in a row between 1000m and 1100m (and $250K in earnings) so she brings a bit of speed to the equation.

Churchill

He was a champion who won 2 Gr.1's as a 2yo over 1400m and 2 other Gr.1's over 1600m as a 3yo. He was the best horse of his generation that year in Europe. His oldest progeny in Europe is only 4yo and he already produced 2 champions.

In Australia, he produced a Gr1 winner during the spring called ATTRITION who won the Toorak Handicap last year. 10% of his progeny have managed to get black type so far which is a good effort. One to watch is the Chris Waller trained MORE FELONS who ran 2nd in the Gr.1 Tancred Stakes this April.

Below is a short interview with Chris Waller discussing his affinity and respect for the progeny of the stallion CHURCHILL

This is the perfect horse for a group of friends to get involved. She is a superb athlete, we think she will win lots of races and give her owners a lot of fun without breaking the bank.
